Pool Service in Apache Junction, AZ

Arizona Aqua Pools brings pool service to Apache Junction, east of our Gilbert base and mostly in Pinal County. We do the weekly cleaning and fix the equipment. Two different water providers serve the city, and that affects what goes into your pool.

Apache Junction Pool Service and Repairs

Our weekly pool service in Apache Junction covers the surface, the walls, the floor and both baskets. We test and balance the water every time. We also check the pump, the filter and any heater or salt system on the pad.

If something stops working, pool repair is the next step. Motors, seals, heaters, timers and leaky valves are all fair game, and we'll explain the fix before we start.

Two Water Providers Serve Apache Junction

Apache Junction homes get water from either the Apache Junction Water District or Arizona Water Company. Each one publishes its own 2025 water quality report. Your water bill tells you which one you have.

The two don't match. The water district reports sodium at 100 to 110 parts per million. Arizona Water Company reports 160 to 180. Chlorine left in the tap water differs too. The district reports about 0.8 to 0.9 parts per million, and Arizona Water Company about 1.5 to 1.7. We test your pool's water, not the provider's average, so these differences get caught.

Apache Junction's Blended, Hard Water

The water district treats Colorado River water from the Central Arizona Project canal at its Superstition Area Water Plant. It blends that with groundwater from the Eastern Salt River Sub-Basin aquifer. Arizona Water Company pumps from wells around the area and also buys water from the district.

The district's hardness sheet says its blended water counts as hard, at more than 10.5 grains per gallon. In a pool, hard water and evaporation together leave calcium at the waterline. Sodium and other minerals pile up the same way. We watch those levels each week and adjust the balance so they don't turn into scale.

Apache Junction Homes and Their Pools

Federal survey figures for 2020 to 2024 give Apache Junction a median build year of 1994, with roughly 79 percent of homes owner-occupied. The city sits at about 1,700 feet, near the Superstition Mountains.

A pool built in the 1990s may have older plumbing and a mix of original and replaced equipment. On every visit we listen to the pump, check the filter pressure and look for leaks at the pad. Finding a worn part early is easier on your budget.
